In the afternoon of October 11, 2020 at Hall 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ward 6, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, UEH-ISB held a graduation ceremony for 299 new bachelors and masters, including:
- 99 Bachelor of Business ISB BBus
- 62 Bachelor of Business Western Sydney BBus
- 48 Master of Business Administration Western Sydney MBA
- 58 Master of Business Administration ISB MBA
- 9 Master in Finance from Massey University
- 9 Master of Human Resource Management from Massey University
- 14 Master of Public Administration from Tampere University
The graduation ceremony is a big and full of pride event for everyone, marking the milestone of maturity as well as the achievement of a long striving to study. Besides, the ceremony also demonstrates the close and sustainable cooperation relationship between ISB Institute – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and 3 universities such as Western Sydney University (Australia); Massey University (New Zealand); Tampere University (Finland).
Opening the graduation ceremony, Prof. Dr Su Dinh Thanh – President of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City sends warm greetings to the new students and masters. “I appreciate your efforts in participating in the training program by English language. This is a big challenge for you in choosing to access an advanced education and it is also the challenge for the school in building and developing towards researching universities and improving the quality of training programs direction.” Professor said.
In addition, Prof. Dr Su Dinh Thanh further affirmed that new bachelors and masters can be completely proud that now they have become a part of the ISB Alumni Association and the UEH Alumni Association. On that basis, the school is ready for professional counseling for the alumni as well as hope to welcome you at the higher education levels.
Representative from Western Sydney University, Professor Peter Shergold – Rector of University of Western Sydney (Australia) also congratulated the new bachelors and masters through a virtual online platform: “Graduation ceremony is an extremely important day for Western Sydney family. It also shows the close relationship between Western Sydney University and UEH-ISB through many years. We are truly proud of the achievements and efforts of Western Sydney Vietnamese students.”
After that, 299 new masters and bachelor were honored to receive degrees in the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony with the congratulatory coming from their teachers, family and friends.
The Graduation Ceremony ended after 2 hours with a lot of emotions for attendees. Congratulations to the new bachelors and masters on successfully completing a memorable milestone on their academic and career paths.
