Course Overview
INTRODUCTION
The Diploma in Business is an extensive pathway program that guarantees entry into the second year of Western Sydney University’s Bachelor of Business degree. Western Sydney University International College (WSUIC) offers the Diploma in Business in Vietnam under a third-party arrangement with the International School of Business – University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (ISB).

COURSE STRUCTURE
Students must pass the following preparatory units for which no advanced standing will be granted into the Western Sydney University Bachelor’s degree program:
- 700322 Decision Making for Business
- 700210 Introduction to Academic Communication 2
- 700216 Introduction to the Australian Legal System
Students must pass the following SEVEN (7) Core University level units:
- 700251 Enterprise Innovation and Markets
- 700254 Enterprise Law (pre-reg 700216)
- 700252 Enterprise Leadership
- 700253 Financing Enterprises
- 700007 Statistics for Business (pre-reg 700322)
- 700001 Marketing Principles
- 700030 Managing People at Work
Students must select ONE (1) unit from the following two (2) units:
- 700250 Financial Institutions and Markets
- 700331 Fundamentals of Marketing Analytics (co-reg 700001)
ARTICULATION TO WESTERN SYDNEY UNIVERSITY
Students who complete this course will articulate into the second year of the Bachelor of Business degree at Western Sydney University by receiving up to 8 units of advanced standing (the equivalent of the first year).
Advanced Standing Granted for Completed ISB Units
Students who complete the below five ISB units will receive five units of Advanced Standing for WSUIC’s Diploma in Business (CRICOS Code 096800G).
