The new graduates and postgraduates have officially completed their academic journey and are poised to conquer new horizons. At the 2024 Graduation Ceremony, ISB proudly honored 265 graduates across various programs, including:
– 191 Bachelor’s degree graduates in Business Administration from the ISB BBus Program, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.
– 30 MBA graduates from the ISB MBA program, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.
– 32 Executive MBA graduates from UQÀM, University of Quebec at Montreal, Canada.
– 12 Master’s graduates in Finance and Human Resource Management from Massey University, New Zealand.

A message on graduation day: Embrace challenges and success will follow
In his opening speech, Prof. Su Dinh Thanh, President of UEH, congratulated all graduates and postgraduates. He emphasized that graduation is a moment to celebrate the commendable efforts of students and learners. It is also ideal for them to reflect on their educational journey and prepare to conquer the promising future.
Furthermore, Professor Thanh conveyed a meaningful message that failure is not the opposite of success but a stepping stone toward it. Therefore, he encouraged the graduates to boldly pursue their aspirations.
In closing his speech, Prof. Thanh expressed deep gratitude to the families of the new graduates and postgraduates. Thanks to the unwavering support from their loved ones, ISB students and learners have been motivated to reach this significant milestone in their academic journey.
The ceremony also featured a guest appearance by Ms. Le Thi Mai Linh, a former UEH-ISB student, member of the ISB Scientific Council, and Chairwoman and CEO of Haleon Group for Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. She delivered an inspiring talk about her journey through graduate studies at ISB at the age of 39. Despite the challenges of balancing work and family responsibilities, her support from ISB and fellow students empowered her to continue her educational pursuits.
Reflecting on her journey, Ms. Mai Linh offered sincere advice: embrace challenges and find ways to overcome them. She also highlighted the immense power of friendship and teamwork. Although imbalances during studies and work are inevitable, no one is alone; anyone can seek support when needed. This support is crucial for continued growth and development.

In concluding the ceremony, Dr. Douglas Foster, Former Vice Dean of ISB, Director of Executive MBA – University of Quebec in Montreal, Vietnam, and Provost of Western Sydney University’s Vietnam Campus, expressed his pride in the new graduates and postgraduates. In this significant moment, he was filled with joy and nostalgia for his 15 years of contributing to the growth and development of ISB.
